How to charge (not completely basic)

With my ebike (Stromer), it is suggested to only charge the battery up to 80 or 90% to get the best battery life. Is this the same case with Evolve skateboards?

 

Lithium Battery will doing more charge cycles if you not charge them every time to 100%.
If you do charge to 100% use the battery soon after charging is completed and do not expose the battery whit SOC (state of charge) 100% to high temperature >40 degrees (parked car in sun)
everything from SOC 50% till 80% is good for the battery = more charging cycles ;]
Also do not try to charge a battery at temperature below 0 degrees, let the battery warm up till it’s above 0 before charging.
Also SOC below 50% is for lithium batteries “uncomfortable”
If you wana do it perfectly stay around 50% and charge as much as you need before you going for a ride.
For example the new iOS 14 from Apple has now the settings to charge only till 80%
Also in the EV world you find a lot of info about lithium batteries and how to treat them good.
Would be cool to see in the future a setting to set a SOC limit for Evolve SK8 charging
