Empty, like in 100% capacity discharged? Voltage of the battery? If so, battery pack may be done for. Sometimes it is possible to bring back to life some batteries. In some lipos you can "trick" the battery by using a NiMH charging protocol. Risky. Like in fire, explosive hazard. Check out R/C forums, goggle search. But remember. Extremely over discharged lithium cells can be very dangerous to revive. Even if successfully reviving the battery you could have one or more cells that are so far off compared to the others. Unbalanced battery pack = bad news. Personally considering the size and capacity of the cells I wouldn't mess with them. Buy or build a replacement .

Not sure about the GT, but for the GTR battery Evolve recommends long term storage at 40-50% of capacity. Not sure what the voltage level is. Different lithium chemistries require different "best" storage voltages. Batteries used in the R/C platforms flown like 3.85V per cell. Have an electric outboard on the sailboat. Torqueedo recommends long term storage at 100% capacity. Bottomline there is no set specific storage voltage for lithium based batteries. But definitely not at 0%. Most lithium cells do not like no load voltages below ~3.4volts.
