Tuning trucks

Hi all,

Just got myself a Bamboo GTX and unfortunaley had a spill on the first ride due to speed wobbles at 20kph. Tightening the trucks up has make the board a bit more stable but the turning radius is super wide and it's still twitchy over cracks in the pavement. I've read a few posts and ordered some green Venom bushes. Will these actually give me what I want? I want to be able to ride comfortably at 20kph (and work up the courage to go a bit faster) but also be able to make somewhat tight turns or am I asking for too much?

 

Did you try bending your knees really well at high speeds? This solved the wobbling problem for me when riding 30-35 km/h on my Bamboo GTX AT wheels with standard Evolve bushes.

 

I got the venom bushes and they were exactly what I was after. Switching to the AT wheels has also helped. I did find myself bending my knees a bit more to soak up more of the bumps.
