Will the airlines let you fly with the Bamboo?

I think almost every airline does not allow the boards on a flight. The battery pack is way beyond what the guidelines allow. I have read some people bending the rules a little (replacing stickers, use specific packaging, etc.) but in general it is a no go.

 

sorry to dig up an old thread, but has anyone had a work around? an aboveboard work around. (no pun intended).

2 mini batt packs instead of 1 regular sized one?
