carbon battery life and death

How long have your carbon gen 2 battery's autonomy been satisfying. I mean 1hr and + rides + 15-20 km range (AT). I've had mine since dec 2015, I've ridden it for about a year after receiving my GT. About once a week a-even less considering winter days, so that make 40 to 60 battery cycles.

Now when I use it : 30min / 8km max. Even after several re-charging cycles.

Do you thing that's normal?

I have never had serious defects on the board, it has been ok since day one, and I have never stocked it uncharged as recommended by evolve.

 

Interesting. . . I picked up my G2 Carbon used, so I have no idea when it was even made, let alone how much it was really ridden. I've been trying to figure out how to measure my battery health for a while though. The range seems very similar to the Gen2 Bamboo that I bought new, so I'm pretty sure it's past it's prime. That's still about 9 miles (~15km) on AT though for me. I guess since it was billed as 16miles/25km, it really might be time for me to talk seriously to Bara or LHB about a new battery.

Any idea for a good way to actually measure the capacity of the battery as it degrades, or is range the easiest way to track it?

Also, as far as 'normal' yeah. . . it seems like it. Batteries do lose capacity over time/charge cycles. I'm not sure how quickly normal is, but that seems like it'd be on the unfortunate side of normal, but not wildly unexpected?
