    Hi All,

I am NOT a skateboarder. I am an electronics repairs technician and I have a Client who came to me with a blown circuit boards for his Evolve skateboard. I am simply looking for help from you fellows in identifying some component on the circuit board (it's blown to pieces and I cant read from it). As there is no circuit board number specified on the board and I don't know the skateboard particular Brand (except it's Evolve), I need your help. The component I'm chasing is a tantalum capacitor (could be orange or black rectangular plastic component with a printed/etched band at one end). I am looking for a value written on it. The part designation printed on a circuit board next to it is (most likely - don't have the whole thing) C10D.

The circuit board is a Dual Motor Driver board (see picture below)

    Thank you in advance

    Jerry

It's a 157pF 16V tantalum capacitor. The ID code of the original component is 40171. Same as on the top PCB.
