I've had my Bamboo GTX for 6 weeks now and have around 100 miles on it with no issues at all. Have multiple hilly rides of more than 15 miles.....Upgraded to the Abec 107's with 38T kit. I have a lot of hills in Marin County and this thing crushes them!

    Glad to be here.....cheers

Bob Weir was the rhythm guitarist of the Grateful Dead. He lives in Marin County. I thought it was common knowledge.

You asked the above question with “Marin County.” I was a Grateful Dead head in the day. The guitarist Bob Weir lives or did live in Marin County. One of their songs is Keep on Trucking. I just thought it was a connection that might have caused you to smile. Apparently it caused confusion. I’m sore about that. ok? R we cool on this?

    Typo on ‘sore’
    I meant ‘sorry.’

Now I get it. I’m not good with cryptic messages. Good to make the connection. I am always looking for guys to skate with in Marin, so let me know.

I’m not huge dead head. I’ve listen to some of their music, but that was a generation before me.
I’m sure you have been to Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael. That venue was started by Phil
    Lesh??

I’m on the East Coast. But I did hear of Terrapin.

If you’re in NYC look me up. You can find my group at NYC Evolve Riders in this forum.
I’ll be well north of you in Oregon this July. I’m considering shipping my board there, but it sounds like a lot of hassle for just 3 weeks.

Btw, I have my carbon GTX also for about 2 months. I’m also skating around the 100 mile marker. I ride the all terrain (AT) tires. You?

Isn’t it awesome to eskate? I loooove it. It’s becoming all consuming of my thoughts outside of work.

I mostly ride Abec 11 - 107 MM or Boas. Haven’t tried the AT’s yet. Love eboarding, but I need to keep riding my regular boards, so I don’t completely forget how. Have a great summer!
