Tip for gauging your battery health over time

So its nice that Evolve shows us the raw voltage of the battery cells. I'd take a pic / record those values after a full charge where the board has had a chance to balance overnight as well as a capture of when the board is at a very low state of charge / empty. These are important values to understand the health of your pack.

Secondly, record the time it takes to charge your pack from a drained state. Keep track of the % of charge on the remote each time as a reference point. Also use the same charger, preferably the slow charger, and record the time it takes to fully charge.
Now you can use this as a reference of how good your batteries will hold up. As batteries get old / age, they charge up faster. They also discharge faster. You also can compare the voltages of your cells with your recording when you first received your board like I mentioned in the beginning.

Some great tips here. It would be fascinating to see the results of some data tracked in this manner, some real data porn! Would require a fair bit self constraint and monitoring though. Hopefully a few of us can commit to some hardcore spreadsheet action and capture some of that data :p

I am a man who loves a spreadsheet. But there is definitely a point where it takes the fun out of it!
