Board snatching to the left

    Hi all,

For some reason my GTR Bamboo board (off-road tyres) snatches to the left when I'm carving. Its only just started to do it and the board threw me yesterday! I start the carve to the left then suddenly the board snatches hard left.

I know its a maintenance issue (have had the board for a couple of years now), can someone advise what to check please? Everything on the front trucks seems solid.

I'm relatively new to skating so please treat me like a beginner! :D

    Cheers
    Chris

Lean hard to the left (use a lever if necessary) and look to see if there's anywhere that the tyres could touch the board.

Sounds like you're getting the infamous "wheel bite"...

When you're riding, the bumps will move the trucks more than just steering on a smooth surface, so if the tyres are anywhere near the deck (or any other part of the board) there's a chance they will hit hard when moving.

Maybe your bushings are getting compressed (age will do that) or splitting.?
