CARBON/BAMBOO GT - Custom 18T motor pulleys. Who's interested?

I have contacted a few people about getting some custom 18T pulleys made for the GT series boards. I have been looking to get a little more top end speed with my street setup and feel like gearing is the easiest route.

This would put the top speed somewhere in the 29-30 mph rage. I have no clue how this will effect range. These will most likely not work with the AT setup(at least without modifying your motor brackets).

They would be STEEL pulleys, with a keyway and two grub screws. Install is pretty easy, and I'll post a quick video how to do it. I was going to see how many of you would be interested in a set? The price is SUPER LOOSE at this point, but im trying to get it around $30-$40 shipped and will let you know as soon as I have a better idea how many people are interested in this(if any). Let me know folks..

found a 20t but I'm sure somewhere in the world someone makes a 18t with an 8mm bore

 

I'd be interested for sure. I'm surprised it hasnt already been done.

 

Those are aluminum(the ones i will have made will be steel)and also those have no keyway. The keyway is cool because it takes alot of stress off those tiny set screws, and the key fits perfect on the flat spot of the Evolve motor shafts. Nice find though those could be good for testing the 20T config

 

I have at least a few hundred miles on them and they are amazing. Way stronger than stock, and no more belt skip with AT. Install using the key and two grub screws with red loc tite and it wont budge

How are those pulleys holding up you got, youon the originals or have you swapped them? Whats your range like and tops speeds generally?
