TLDR; Negative balance wire not needed on Evolve Carbon GT,Bamboo, One and GTX.

Hi, In a recent conversation with a battery builder (I design electronics circuits, and tinker in building batteries) the builder told me he uses a heavier gauge wire for negative because it would someones overheat and burn out, this intrigue me so I decided to investigate the problem, I have a BMS in bits on my workbench at the time and hi res scans of the BMS board in photoshop with the copper layers 90% mapped. I followed the traces and double checked with a meter to find the (B-) location on the BMS has a unbroken copper path to the negative terminal on the balance plug at the top of the BMS.

What's been happening in high current situations is the current has been finding the balance wire to be lower resistance and damaging the wire.

Electronically it's not needed and it just making a loop.

I have yet to test it in a build but any battery builder is welcome to give it a test in the hope to build a more reliable battery for thier customers.
