about 16 mph. Just Saturday I went 15 miles and still had 20% left.

So apart from Saturday, you've managed to ride a full 19mi at 16mph on flat ground on street wheels?

Of all the people who visit this forum and have a Bamboo GT, only one can confirm they have achieved the claimed range.

    Hmmmm...

I tend to do a lot of stopping and starting and higher top speeds but if I were to hold a steady 15 mph I do not doubt I could reach advertised range.

    I guess cuz I didn't ask who hasn't.

I haven't. Flat ground on Eco. 97mm wheels. Average speed of 22km/h with time above that speed and time below that speed using smooth acceleration.

Evolve say the 35km range is achieved at a constant 20km/h.

That's what I used to think too. But the last 20% (without a load) really is useless. It's difficult maintaining 20km/h without the battery hitting 0% due to voltage sag and thus shutting down.

Range is something that is determined by many factors. Type of surface/Terrian, hills, weight, speed and even the wind!! Its def possible to get the advertised range and even exceed that on eco speed. but has to be flat, smooth, no wind and average weight.

I can get 20 miles on my street wheels, mostly fast speed, ABEC 97s, I weigh 10 1/2 stone.

If you're in the city you can still get amazing range, even if stopping if you concentrate on not braking... Give a little push when starting from a stand still and roll up to lights as much as possible instead of going fast and having to brake.

I achieved 25 km in ECO and almost flat. I'm 86 kg.

That won't last long. After a couple of weeks the overall battery performance will begin to drop. It depends how much you use it, I ride my for an hour at least every single day and already the total battery capacity has dropped by a fair bit. The battery on my 3 month old board and my friends brand new board are incomparable, he gets so much more range riding the same way. He always has to end the ride at 50%+ battery left because mine is completely flat.

Try leaving you board on charge overnight for a few nights in a row to balance back out the cells.

That sort of cold temperature will def kill the range :(

Also keep in mind that temperature impacts your range. Noticed in colder weather that you get less range also.

I know i commute 7kms in total to work and back, mostly riding in GT the whole time. open her up flat out on the straights to 37km/h and ride some small hills and sometimes a big hill on the way home and will experience dropping into eco if im not careful in the last km or so. But I ride hard.

When i first bought the board i would ride to work and back 3 times with no charge no problem but now im power and speed hungry.
