Wanted Evolve Carbon GT Motor controller

Problem with my CGT. I took the Carbon GT out on the beach this weekend and it was a blast, most I have ridden the board. When finished, I LIGHTLY sprayed it off with water to get the sand off of it making sure it did not get in the motors. Bad idea! When I got home only one motor was working. I took the cover off and it had a couple of drops inside around the motor controller board. I blew it off with compressed air and made sure it was dry and tried it again. The motor controller popped and then started to smoke. I have contacted Evolve via email and left a message on their voicemail. No reply yet.

Does anybody have an extra Evolve GT motor controller they want to sale?

It will be hard to find since nobody sells them except used. But I just had my motor controller replaced on a brand new board and it cost $150 for the part (Warranty). Evolve USA customer support is terrible in terms of responding back.

 

Evolve replied today and said they don't have any in stock at this time and to subscribe to their news letter for updates. The thing is they don't have the motor controller listed on their website. When you go yours fixed did you send the board into Evolve to have motor controller replaced? If not, do you happen to have the old motor controller?

They don't list the major components on their website, but they are available for purchase (If they have it in stock).

They sent me a return label to ship my board back to California for repair/replacement. So, I don't have the old one. (It was broken anyway).
I figured they'll have limited supply in the US bc it's the latest gen 3 motor controller.

So Evolve sold me a new motor controller. But now the board will not turn off and the blue power button blinks the whole time. It will turn off after it times out with no activity but then will not turn back on. Has anybody had this happen to them? Not sure if the new Motor controller is bad or maybe the BMS has an issue. I have emailed Evolve and they said to make sure the connections are good on the power button. I checked and they are.

He tenido un problema, no se si le ha entrado agua o algo, ahora he pulsado el boton de encendido y se ha frito y el mando y todo parece quemado. quisiera saber cual es la solucion? Si esto le ha pasado a alguien? Es un carbon gt cualquier ayuda o mensaje de esperanza se agradece
