ADL, Sth Oz Noob

Hey there folks,

I’m based in Adelaide, South Australia and am a 56yo noob to e-sk8ing. Just got my first e-board buying a well looked after Bamboo GTX fitted with 107mm ABEC11 street wheels. I’ll order the AT conversion kit tomorrow and have a feeling those wheels will almost permanently live on the board.

I’ve learnt to ride an EUC almost a year ago, so don’t expect to take too long to get to grips with this thing. I’ve been putting in about 6 to 7 kilometres a day of practice rides locally and have loosened the trucks a bit from the previous owner who had them locked down damn tight. Maybe they were a speed demon!

I’ve joined in a few group rides last summer with the local SAESK8 group and look forward to getting back to it now the weather is getting so much better for the 24/25 Aussie summer season.
