    So after trying the 97mm abec 11s out today on my commute I can honestly say I'm a bit disappointed; and don't know what to do;

    I thought they would be perfect for my commute and give me that extra range and speed, which they did...on 45% of the journey; just turns out 55% of my commute is just that bit too much for them, they manage the smooth road surfaces perfectly but the bad cycle tracks and road surface I have in my area and at work just cause too much vibration and Any advantage they had in speed and range just gets eaten up by having to slow down for fear of having an accident or causing damage to the motors by rubbish and debris in the way.

    Do I need to give them a longer go? And adapt to their characteristics over the AT tyres? Or should I go with my gut and sell them?

    97mm 75a are about as smooth of a ride you will get from Urethane wheels. If you are riding in roads AT wheels are the only way to go imo. Or get used to the vibrations. I used to think my old longboard was dialled in for road use perfection until i rode my evolve with AT wheels.

    I think you may be right - looks like the only way for me to get some extra range is to lose some weight!
