    Hey y'all

help wanted. check out the video. Motor is loose and has a lot of wiggle room. when powering the motor the torque makes it "bend" one way for a moment. Braking does the same. It just happened when i was riding on the sidewalk. motor bangs against the fixture making a terrible noise when this happens offcourse.

All screws fixing the motor to the deck are tight af so it's really the motor itself. Someone help a brother out? <3

Could be a number of things.....first to try would be to loosen the torc screws holding the drive shaft to the housing.....then tap the drive shaft at the gear end to reduce the space.

The second thing could be a failure of the housing itself - I seen it once before - I had one crack. It moved like in your video, but the crack was invisible to me until it snapped altogether.

Flex it like you do in the video then look at the top (hard to describe, but what i mean is look directly down on the end with the torc screws) you will see air holes in a circle.....the one i saw fail before had a spreading crack linking all the air holes together......does that make sense? when flexed you could see the crack.....then flex the other way and the crack would close.

The one I saw eventually cracked entirely around in a circle. And the black cylindrical housing could spin without spinning the drive shaft.

Hope that makes sense - it is difficult to describe

A beat motor bearing would cause that. They've been known to blow out early on some GTs.

I'm having a similar issue with my board as well. Mine is not as bad as Kevin's but there is a bit of play on both sides. I've only had the board for a week now and I didn't know if this was normal. Has there been any updates to your issue Kevin?
