    E-rides have grown in popularity over recent years and the it seems that MOST of the world has been able to adapt to these micro-modes of transport. However, the same can't be said in the UK. Despite electric scooters legality it's estimated 750,000 people continue to ride privately owned and risk 6 points and a fine.

    With more riders, comes more accidents - so what happens if an e-scooter rider gets hurt riding on public roads? Do they have the right to make a claim? How are insurance companies responding? Eilis speaks to specialised solicitor Ben Pepper who is dealing with such claims.
