Sin city, new to the Esk8 world.

Hey I’m here in Sin city and my question is,
Is this forum only for Evolve owners or can we own another type of board.

The name kind of says everything but honestly it never hurts to ask. I would ask the question and the worst that will happen is you won’t get a response. I see people buying and selling other boards on this forum all the time so there is that. What’s the question?

BTW the Facebook site probably gets more traffic but I am not a Facebook fan. So if you have an account you may get a quicker response there.

X-ray thanks for the response. I’m new to the Esk8 world been reading stuff for about a year and thought maybe this was a forum to learn from. Then I realized the Evolve part. Still there’s a lot of info here so I’m just gonna stand by and hopefully learn something for future build. I’m currently waiting for my first board. (Not an evolve thought. Maybe one day.)

Sure thing. Whether Evolve, Boosted or some other board, most everyone I have encountered of these forums is a skater at heart and pretty helpful. If they can't answer your question they may at least try to point you in a direction that can. There is a lot of really good info on this forum that covers eskating in general so click the Search Forums button at the top of the page and search on! Coming on Thursday. I ride all sorts of boards, from snow to street. So I can’t wait to get out there and join the fun. Thanks again!

 

Doesn't matter what you ride, just that you keep riding. I build all kinds of crazy boards, electric, gas, jet, etc... and cruise them Downtown and The Strip. We'll have to do a meetup. Maybe do Redrock. That's a great ride too

 

Sounds awesome! Do you need AT board for Red Rock? Mines only set up for street.

 

It's fine with either, though, I probably run my 7" AT wheels 98% of the time. Mainly because they are excellent at kicking rocks out to the side, rather than stopping the board quickly, causing me to do my Superman impersonation. The older I get, the longer it takes to get back up after eating it hard

 

Go hit the wetlands, best ride in Vegas.. May see a few of us out there tomorrow!
