Belt Cover scraping AT wheels

The plastic belt covers is touching the wheels on my carbon gt at. It has made a slight groove in the tire where it touch.Does anyone else have this problem? Or know how to fix it?

 

I had the same problem. Add one more washer to each side and it should be fine.

 

I had this problem so I Pumped the tires to 50psi that fixed it.

 

thanks, adding the washer fixed it, it has also made a noticeable difference in speed and acceleration now that the wheels run freely.

 

Yes... I do have the same issue. Decided to run it without covers. Got some feedback from other Carbon GT users that the cover will catch twigs and leaves and rocks. Does the cover really serve any real "functional" purpose?

BTW, which extra washer did you add, the gear large washer or the small wheels washer?

I'm having the same issue. Do extra washers come with the board if you buy only the AT model? I dont beleive I saw any extras. Can I buy a similar washer at hardware store? If so, anyone got the correct specs?

 

As I also did the same with the rest here above (added a small washer) I recommend you take the washers with you to a hardware store, get them measured on the spots and get some spares of each size.
