    Hello Everyone!

I have just uploaded a new video where i swap the Evolve motor for a different brand motor, a Racestar. The video shows how to dismantle the board and replace the motors.
Please check if out if you are interested in a 3rd party replacement for your evolve motors!

Thanks for the in depth video. I just ordered the 2 racestar this pass weekend for backups. I would like to know the speed values in each mode underload. My believe is at the most you may loose 1mph in each mode witch is not bad for about half the cost of the motors.

Thanks mate. Yea Kv is Kv and a difference of 2 is nothing. They are almost identical

Not sure mate. Wouldn't fancy putting the motor controller through that. Not sure what would happen!

Generally the higher the Kv the higher the RPM but lower the torque

RPM is volts x Kv so it would be 36 x 200 which would be 7200 motor RPM at full speed.
The standard RPM at full speed is like 5400. So depending on your setup the 1800 RPM extra would increase your top speed by 33%. BUT lower your torque and I have no idea what the motor controller would do.

    Give ita go haha

  10. Thanks for making this video, Milly! A lot of us wanted to see it and I'm glad you followed through. I'd be interested to see a practical real-world test of riding with these. Or at the very least your impressions after you've used them.

I am confident that they will be fine. They looks the same externally and internally down to the smallest detail. There is actually a review on the website of the motors from a guy....

what don't we make it a 4WD skateboard of it... LOL ;) just an idea... 2 controllers and 2 batteries.... one juice run out.. boot 2nd remote an double the range

  13. There's a video where someone did exactly that. The issue with two motor controllers is you'd have to use two remotes simultaneously. Also if not using both at the same time you'd get some drag from the inactive belts
