Anyone tried a DIY LIPO pack ?...

Hi. I found some cells for a very decent price... 170$can. Or 130 ish us$. Is there a reason why I can't find anyone having tutored this? They claim these cells can take 2000 recharges... ... Also I'd be curious if we could fit 15 of these in the BGT? Using the "BOX extension" to increase the size of the battery box... This would help for possible sag, and most likely extend pack life...? I'm no expert,... Any thoughts welcome!

 

I'm sure it could be done, but what's the point in using these. If you're going to make a new pack why not 18650’s.

 

Because it's cheaper?... Lighter?... Was wondering if there would be a way to make a better LiPo than the stock one... Anyhow, I'm heading towards the 10s4p 30q... Thanks

 

Not really any cheaper using the lipos. 10s4p 30q is what I'm running on my carbon. Work great, I'd definitely recommend it.
