Dont buy Evolve, i almost killed myself

1. Why would I go out of my way to falsify a fault with my board and remote?
2. This is not 'shifting' between modes. There is no evidence of that on the footage at all. Nor do I do it when riding.
3. Ive skated and surfed all my life I know the dangers. This is a design flaw.

The responses in this thread defending Evolve indicate that inexperienced users are not expected to buy and use the product in their opinion. In my opinion it is time for evolve to warn inexperienced users not to buy the product so my taxes and health insurance go up to pay for repairs of people who hurt themselves due to inexperience without adequate warning from Evolve. I hope the government will sue evolve for money back, like they do for opiod manufacturers who lied about the safety of Oxy.

 

Well folks, a year later and I finally got my new R2 remote. I gave it a little test run and then feeling confident I resumed my commute to work... on the 3rd run I had yet another momentary glitch and it threw me off AGAIN!
These v1 boards simply cannot be trusted!
Last time I ever ride an Evolve board !!!

So you say that your board went flying into a wall and smashed into pieces... My board went under the wheels of a double decker bus an suffered a clean snap but otherwise ok for repair.
My guess is that you tried to do a trigger reset and screwed up the polarity.
I tell people that only capable people will be found on e-boards. The others quit after the first scare.

 

Yeh, whatevs you moron. I know busted when I see it. I set the trigger when I first got it and it worked fine twice (about 16km) then dropped out 3rd ride. Ive owned this board for nearly 3 years. Something in the control mechanism is ******.
Youre just a self inflated idiot.

 

On a more philosophical note, reading back theough these posts seems to show a clear bias. Those who've never had a problem with their board claim anybody else with issues must be 'inexperienced' or 'inept'. Interesting claims to make with little or no evidence.
