200mm x 50mm (8" x 2") inner tubes work on 7" AT tires

You can get these 8" inner tubes in pairs way cheap on amazon and they actually fit better than the stock 7" inner tubes. The 7" tubes always seemed small when putting the hubs back together I always fought with the tubes getting caught between the hubs while screwing them together.

Haven't taken them for a ride yet, but so far assembly is way easier and when inflated seem to spin normally as well. FYI. I'll post a test ride soon.

 

The 200mm x 50mm (8”x2”) inner tubes worked great, I am sold on them at $5-$6 each. Ride quality is the same and width area of traction on the tire doesn’t seem to be affected vs the 7”. Camo wheels have the 8” tubes in picture. Looks the same as the 7” tube tire on the left.

Try them out and save $$.

 

Gday, any updates on this? Still finding the 200x50 inner tubes ok? I agree, the 7" tubes pinch in the hubs very easily.
