Strange noise from my Carbon GT

Hey guys,

Just wondering if somebody could diagnose this noise from my CGT; I only have it a couple of weeks so it's definitely not age or mileage related! Really loud whine under load on acceleration or braking but no noise once trigger released. Took a video of it, see below!

Just wanted to add that the noise only happens when I'm on the board - the motors spin fine and quietly up to full speed without me on it.

 

I have the same issue with my bamboo gt. This is my second board, never had this issue on my first board. Ive only had my second board for about 2 months so idk what it is either

 

You ever get this resolved? Same issue has emerged on my board as well

 

Had my motors repaired TWICE by Evolve using my warranty and the same issue kept happening. I made a video going into more detail about what happened. I ended up selling my Bamboo GT after getting the motors replaced a second time and bought a Boosted Plus. Havent had any issues so far and am loving it

Are you convinced it was a motor issue?

 

No worries, it happens. And most definitely a motor issue. When it started happening I checked EVERYTHING, belt tension, wheels, bearings, everything I could with the tools I had. Nothing could fix it. And to this day I just dont understand how the same thing could happen DAYS after I get it back from repair. I dont know, I want to like Evolve, but this experience changed that
