Hi all, I currently have the carbon gt with all terrain wheels. I was thinking of purchasing the abec 11 street wheels, has anybody done this and are they worth the £200 price tag for the street conversion kit and the wheels, what are your thoughts everyone.

Wes - to me it depends on the wheels. The conversion kit is needed for the belts and flywheels but.... I didn't much like the evolve wheels at the time which were the 83s I believe. Having said that I now mainly use the abec 11 green 97s and love them. Many are going to the 107s but I don't think you can go wrong with either. If your roads are rough go with the 107s. Nothing compares to the smooth ride the AT wheels provide but for me it's mainly the the street wheels. Enjoy

I highly recommend the black 97mm 74a ReFly wheels from ABEC 11. Same 'thane as the 107s, but a fraction of the weight. Amazingly, there is a noticeable difference between the green 97mm 75a wheels despite only 1 unit of durometer difference. The ReFlys, to me, feel softer and grippier. By far my favorite street wheels. I've tried the stock 83s, 97mm 75a, and 107mm 74a.

I just recently went from the at's to the 107's. There's a Big difference from rolling over everything even small children to now watching where your going and the rough ride. The streets are nice but when on sidewalks if there's a lip it feels like their going to buck you off by bouncing off the cracks. Their much faster than the at's and give you more of the old school longboard feel. The range feels better for sure but haven't tested it but ran gt mode the whole time for 10 miles and had more than 1/2 battery left and I'm 150lbs. The roll with nice bearings is awesome! I'm going to give them another couple weeks but I'm looking at at's with 6.5" trampas tires.

Was thinking of moving to the 107s as well. Thanks for your input. And, if you end up not liking them in the end, PM me for first right of refusal would you?
