So I went out for another great ride on my evolve bamboo GTX in the UK sun today but this time I found that I kept loosing response from my accelerator control lever on my R2 remote. If happend a couple times yesterday but I put it down to busy wifi network in the Bristol centre. Today it happend about 10 times. It would loose all throttle response yetvthe brake function was working spot on every time .The signal antenna on the display was always showing to ? I got home and was a little gutted thinking the board might have an issue .Fortunately I bought 2 R2 remotes so I had one spare .I tried that and it was spot on .I then tried the other R2 and the same problem was there right off .So it's the throttle on the remote that's faulty. Any ideas or shall I just return it for repair?

I believe it’s the remote as well and I had similar problems and worse. I went back to my LCD remote and haven’t had any problems at all which I like better when I am going to a race scores. But if you paid for it sure send it back and get it repaired.

@fozzy Hey you could try the R-2 Trigger re-setting procedure by following this Evolve video in the link below. As your second R-2 remote is functioning correctly, at least you know it's not a problem with the board and is isolated to that particular R-2. See if re-setting both trigger values helps to cure the problem, then failing that just send it back for a replacement.

Jamie, man I tried several times but can get pass the double click the power button and double click the mode button two times. I’m getting no response from this unit unable to see the settings.

Hi guys ,I did the remote recalibration and it has resolved the issue totally .Ive Aldo done the brake hack to safe gaurd another known issue which I didn't have but better to be safe where by I've set the min brake to 1mm from fully off incase the brake switch doesn't fully flick to off ,which as said wasn't an issue for me but has been for others ,but this little tweak safe guards that .
I've done the same to my other R2 as well .

Here’s another version of resetting the trigger values on the R2 remote which helped me.
