BIG change coming from boosted dual Plus to GTX

Boosted dual plus V2 - unbelievable torque that could put you on your ass at any speed, beautiful ly smooth remote control Power curve

Bamboo GTX 2in1 - 7 inch pneumatic tires make for great road hazard absorption and increase the belly clearance so I don't bottom at 22 mph like I did last April on my boosted, dislocating my foot and breaking my fibula.

I guess I'm so used to the boosted that it's going to take awhile to get used to the GTX. You can't even compare the torque between the boards... first time I got on it, I thought it's Motors were not functioning correctly because it took about 25 seconds to get up to fast mode top speed. The GTX R2 remote acceleration trigger needs a heavier spring, sometimes it's hard to tell how much I have the trigger pressed because of its light resistance force. The advertised mileage on the all terrain wheels was greatly exaggerated for this 200lb boy... the specs said 18.5 miles, I got a little more than 10.
Of course I need to give it a few more days to come to some final conclusions, but I'm kind of disappointed in this $2,000 board

If you are only riding in fast mode then it is not going to be the fastest. Try gt! Also you do have to bear in mind that at wheels will not feel as fast as strees wheels. The gtx is a far more powerful board than boosted. I get around 16 miles on at wheels and I weigh about 220. Maybe you could have a problem with the board?

Ditch the R2 ( source out a standard), slap on some 97's
    You will know torque

I'm 215lbs and get 14 miles on AT. But I'm riding through hilly Portland.

    My tips:
    • Pump up those tires to max PSI and don't ride with dead weight to avoid flats/falls
    • Ride in Fast mode and don't full throttle for long periods of time. Use GT for hills.
    • Kick to start your rides then throttle it...HARD to get your speed then back off the trigger slightly
    • Approaching a hill, get in GT and your speed up and use the momentum and motors to your advantage. Reduces drain from battery.
    • Battery gets better with cycles. Make sure you completely drain it after every 15 charges to maintain proper battery health.
    • Be extra careful going downhill at speeds of 20+ as the brake can be touchy. No one wants a fall at that speed.

If your only getting 10mi on a charge you might want to check your tire pressure. Evolve told me they keep their personal boards at 50psi.
