Protects the trigger, so yah I would buy one. However, I think Evolve should modify the body of the remote to do this already. If you are riding at high speeds and you crash or the controller fly's out of your hands and hits the concrete I can see that trigger busting off.

Has anyone busted their trigger yet?

I think the purpose of this would probably excel more in helping to prevent accidental trigger taps, which might send the board jetting off somewhere when you didn't intend.

Fixed your images bud, after uploading you can always embed all of them at full size using the following button, or a mix using any of the buttons below it

That's awesome, so did you download the blueprint off 3DHubs and make your own? Or did you get it some other way?

Awesome work Nick! I'm going to send that link to a friend who has a 3D printer to see how much it would cost to get a couple printed up for the London crew.

I put this design through an Australian website that can 3d print and the result was more than $100 which is clearly insane. any suggestions please?

Just FYI I'm working on a new guard which will replace the entire bottom part of the remote, not sure if it will work yet, but will keep you all posted.

I think a very simple design could work without over thinking it too much, the guard is a good idea but does not offer full accidental touching. I can almost see just a little flap that covers the trigger, looking like a half dome, which either clips on, or just has a tiny screw hinge attached, where you flip it up to ride and down when you stop, or even one that swings around and becomes part of the grip when not in use :)

Wow! Looks promising. Hope you get it figured out. If you manage to make a larger trigger available, that'd work well with gloves, that'd be sweet too. Especially if they two pieces could be used together.
