Just got my GTX in the mail today

    I just got my Evolve GTX at/st in the mail today.
    I decided to wrap the gold motors in carbon fiber because I think it looks better than completely gold + it should protect the motors from scratches.

    I will do the same hehe. How did you measure the width and length? On the go or before applying wrap?

    I measured them then pre cut them before applying them...

    I bought it at a local auto parts store. (PepBoys)
     
  11. I'm worried that when the motor get hot, they will melt the CF sticker and then it will be stuck at the motor forever!

    I would not worry too much about heat causing the sticker to remain stuck, rather than the heat loosening the adhesion of the sticker. Applied heat is one of the best ways to remove stickers generally, but it does need a significant temperature to do so. I do not believe that your motors should be generating that much heat unless they have an issue causing them to overheat!
