Leicester/Midlands group ride

Hi, I just wondering if there would be any interest in a Leicestershire or Midlands group ride. If anyone is interested or has any ideas of locations. I was thinking Rutland water would be an amazing place for a group ride.

 

Hi Jamie, I live in market harborough and would love a group ride ,I'm looking into other areas in the Midlands that would be a good place to ride. Rutland water sounds cool . There's a place called east Carlton park that looks a good ride plenty of off road trails,it's near Corby

 

I am over Stratford Upon Avon way and would not mind meeting up with you guys if we can find something half way ish

That looks a great place, it's just under an hours drive for me ,have you been there before?

 

not to board but been for a look around years ago and happy to go and do a Recce if need be before hand

 

Yeah if you don't mind, I'm definitely interested, would be nice if we could get more people to go ,might be worth setting up an event on here to see if more people are interested

Did this ride ever happen? Got my board about 2weeks ago and I'm in Stamford.

 

Nope ,no one seemed interested or bothered

 

I've been to a few rides with the london groups if you're up for joining the cruise about.

Also given that summer weather is fastly goin into hibernation....as long as there's no rain I'm always game to get out and rack up some miles.

do you know if there's somewhere between me and you where we could meet up for a ride.?

 

If you're comfortable on the roads we could do a small town circuit or do the rutland loop....just got to find a cafe midway for charging up. Would ve ideal if had at least 5 riders though.

 

I don't mind riding on roads as long as they ain't too busy and Rutland water sounds cool, hopefully other people read this and might be interested

 

When you said Rutland loop did you mean Rutland water?

 

Yea do the loop around it, shoud be a decent ride.
