May 2017 Site Update - New Features

New Evolve Bustin GT Series on the way | Plus one off "Robot Bustin" Bamboo GT for UFC's Mark Hunt

Evolve HQ hosted a live stream event last night and presented Evolve Ambassador Mark "Super Samoan" Hunt with a custom one off 'Robot Bustin', a custom version of their very popular Bamboo GT line.

140kg Mark Hunt then took it for a ride and the Evolve GT handled it without even breaking a sweat, and it was only on Eco mode!

Jeff then hinted that there could be more on the way from Bustin, so watch this space!

You may have noticed your browser requesting permission to Allow browser notifications from the Evolve Forums domain.

This is due to the new alerts system I've just setup. It allows the site to send you browser notifications of new forum thread and conversation alerts even if you're in another browser tab.

Quick Post Threads

There's now a shortcut on the home page where you'll find a quick sortable list with all the site forums.

With a couple of keypresses you can narrow down what forum you want to post in and you'll be taken straight to the relevant thread creation page.

So it seems we've got quite a few 3D designers and printers in the electric skateboard community.

3D printers lend themselves well to making all sorts of custom parts and enhancements for the boards.

I thought it might be nice to have a dedicated forum where we can chat just about 3D printing topics and perhaps share some of the non-skate related projects y'all might be working on.

Hopefully this may be of interest to the likes of Nickelberry...

A dedicated suggestions and ideas forum is now live

I've seen a plethora of great ideas bandied about on how to improve these electric skateboards. Some of them come from members of the community with unique insight and perspective. It's a shame that many of them may get lost in a thread only to ever remain just an idea.

The Evolve team are not huge. There's only so much of keeping up to date with social media comments, and one suggestion emailed to a certain distributor might not end up being shared with the global team or the community....

Group buy option added to the electric skateboard classifieds

I've added a group buy prefix as on option threads in the buy, sell, trade forum.

This can be handy if you want to create threads to organise a group buy for some electric skateboard gear and get the price down.

Gallery Update - December 2016

I've just updated the gallery. There's a few fixes that have been implemented that should fix any previous tagging issues on albums and videos.

If you encounter any issues or bugs, please don't hesitate to report them in the support forum.

I've also adjusted the carousels on the home page and added some new easy access buttons for handy features.

The top carousel now shows the latest images uploaded to the gallery.
